Jennifer Lopez and Jharrel Jerome Shine in Unstoppable: The Inspiring Story of Wrestling Champion Anthony Robles

 Jennifer Lopez stars alongside Jharrel Jerome in the inspiring sports biopic Unstoppable, which is set to highlight the remarkable journey of Anthony Robles, a wrestler born with one leg who defied expectations to win a national college wrestling championship. In the film, Lopez plays Judy, Robles' devoted mother, whose unyielding support becomes central to his success. Jerome, known for his role in Moonlight, takes on the challenging role of Robles, bringing the wrestler's strength and perseverance to life on screen.

The film, directed by William Goldenberg and produced by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon’s Artists Equity, delves into Robles’ journey from overcoming rejection by wrestling powerhouse Iowa to becoming a champion at Arizona State University. Notably, Robles himself worked on the film as a producer and stunt double for Jerome, ensuring authenticity in the portrayal of his story. Joining Lopez and Jerome are Bobby Cannavale, Don Cheadle, and Michael Peña, who play mentors and coaches crucial to Robles' success.

Unstoppable is scheduled for a limited theatrical release on December 6, 2024, followed by streaming on Prime Video starting January 16, 2025​.
